Over the 50 years of its existence, The Optimist Club of Red Deer has been involved in a multitude of community oriented projects affecting children and youth.
Annual Optimists Salute to Youth Dinner
Optimists Bikes for Kids Program - free of charge to children and adults.
During the 2011 calendar year, the club gave out 204 bikes with referrals from Schools, social agencies, and the Red Deer Christmas Bureau.
